Serving the following counties in Indiana: Knox, Daviess, Martin, Pike, Dubois, Orange, Spencer, Perry

We have full-time and part-time hours available, including day, mid, evening, and overnight shifts.

Objective

Home Instead Care Professionals provide non-medical services to seniors, helping them remain in their homes and enhancing their quality of life. They assist clients and families in aging with dignity, pride, care, and compassion.

Primary Responsibilities

• Reflect the core values of Klipsch Senior Care, LLC.
• Contribute to a positive living environment to improve client quality of life.
• Document daily activities and report significant changes in client needs or conditions.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and office staff.
• Provide companionship and personal care, including conversation, assistance with walking, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and appointment accompaniment.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence issues.
• Provide specialized care for Alzheimer’s/Dementia and hospice care as needed.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Participate in training and social events, including Care Professional meetings.
• Report hours and communicate availability changes promptly.
• Participate in satisfaction surveys and document client information.
• May require running errands and providing transportation using personal or client vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull 25 pounds.
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (if applicable).
• Ability to withstand exposure to dust, mold, mildew, and cleaning solutions.
• Respectful and dignified treatment of clients and their property.
• Adaptability to various living environments.
• Friendly and effective communication skills.
