Visiting Angels of the Berkshires is currently searching for Caregivers/Home Health Aide/Personal Care Assistant/Companion to perform services in and around Pittsfield, as well as several other areas including Great Barrington, Shelburne Falls, Williamsburg, Huntington, and Williamstown.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal hygiene assistance such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.
  • Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene.
  • Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to do so successfully.
  • Perform housekeeping duties.
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
  • Offer activities essential for daily living by assisting clients during each visit.
Qualifications
  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and learn new skills.
  • Ability to perform job functions and willingness to learn.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day.
  • Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
  • Let us know your preferred work schedule, and we will accommodate.
  • Prior experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
  • Willingness to follow health and safety standards.
  • Supportive, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality care.
