Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Generalist, located in Richardson, TX. Were searching for a qualified and resourceful HR Generalist to support our department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The HR Generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, and will help with important functions such as staffing, training and development, and compensation and benefits. This candidate will provide Human Resources consultative services to all levels within the organization by effectively coaching and supporting staff and managers through various situations; interpreting policies and appropriate application, with awareness of impact and liability, and assist in writing Progressive Corrective Actions. Responsibilities

  • Prepare paperwork and schedules for smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience
  • Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance
  • Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters
  • Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including biweekly and semimonthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changes
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to policy development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field
  • Bilingual Preferred (Spanish & English)
  • 2+ Years Professional HR experience
  • SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification is a plus
  • Ability to understand and analyze data while utilizing critical thinking skills to gain understanding of assigned client groups business and needs
  • Develop relationships at all levels and communicate effectively
  • Possess understanding of role of Compensation and Benefits and how it relates to client groups
  • Proficient in use of common business software and applications such as MS Office, AllianceHR, Google Drive, etc.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects while utilizing time management skills
  • Knowledgeable of current laws, regulations, and compliance issues affecting Human Resources
  • Work hours: Full Time: Monday-Friday; 8:00AM-5:00PM - Additional hours may be needed to ensure organizational success
