Overview

As an IT Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing Tier 1/2 technical support across the organization. This position handles escalated incidents from Tier 1, performing advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues for hardware, software, networking, and peripheral devices.

Responsibilities

  • Solve complex tech issues—whether it's hardware, software, networking, mobile devices, or peripheral devices (printers, scanners). If needed, escalate issues to Tier 3 or relevant engineering teams.
  • Monitor systems and ticket queues. Participate in post-incident reviews and implement findings to minimize recurrence of issues.
  • Manage hardware and software inventory through asset management tools, assisting with tracking, imaging, configuration, and deployment. Ensure systems are compliant with organizational standards and security guidelines.
  • Provide rotational coverage of the support phone queue, assisting Tier 1 by handling overflow and high-priority incoming calls when necessary, and ensuring timely escalation or resolution of complex incidents.
  • Help out on the support phone line when needed—especially for overflow or urgent calls—and make sure issues get resolved or escalated quickly.
  • Make sure all fixes and setups follow IT policies and security best practices. Help with software updates, patching, and infrastructure changes.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience solving issues with PCs, printers, phones, and infrastructure in a corporate role
  • Experience supporting/using tools such as Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Intune

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
