Position Summary: The IT Support Technician plays a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting our IT infrastructure across office, warehouse, and production environments. They will report directly to the IT Director. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is comfortable balancing user support with infrastructure-level responsibilities. The right candidate will be security-aware and attentive to risks and best practices, well-versed in Windows environments, possess solid networking and server skills, and be eager to support both day-to-day operations and longer-term IT initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues in a LAN/WAN environment: DHCP, DNS, VLANs, firewall rules, etc.
  • Maintain and support virtual infrastructure (VMware) and Windows Server, management of AD and GPO.
  • Assist with systems patching, backups, imaging, and asset tracking.
  • Provide technical support for switches, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, IP Cameras, printers (including label printers), barcode scanners, point of sale systems, security cameras, door pass system, and warehouse mobile systems.
  • Run and terminate network cabling, perform switch-level diagnostics, and support on-site connectivity.
  • Manage IT ticketing system and provide end-user support including to offsite employees & locations as needed.
  • Learn and support internal processes within the company’s ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV).
  • Provide technical support for payroll and time clock software. Perform additional duties as directed by IT Director.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams).
  • Exposure to ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
  • Basic SQL knowledge or experience writing/reporting queries (MS-SQL).
  • Working knowledge of Crystal Reports, Redzone reporting tools.
  • Experience with backup software and imaging tools (e.g., Veeam, etc.).
  • Experience with EDI, Shopify.
  • Strong hands-on technical skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset, particularly in break/fix scenarios.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask effectively, completing tasks on schedule.
  • Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretion and accuracy.
