Kuiper IT Services is looking to hire a skilled IT Support Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support for our infrastructure, warehousing operations, production environments, and laboratory facilities. This role is crucial in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring reliable technology systems across our organization.
Export Control: This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it will be performed.
Responsibilities
- This shift is a 10 hour - Wed-Sat Night-Shift position, with an 8PM start time.
- Process tickets via approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) to triage and resolve customer issues.
- Provision, deploy, and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, and maxOS workstations.
- Provision, deploy, and troubleshoot bare-metal Windows and Linux servers.
- Configure, deploy, and replace network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Participate in hiring, training and development of others.
- Provide technical support for Kuiper Production, lab and launch infrastructure, components, and associated software.
- Provide remote support for Kuiper employees and infrastructure worldwide.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and system upgrades.
- Assist with project implementations and technology deployments.
- Drive engineering best practices (e.g., Operational Excellence, Security, Quality, etc.) and set standards.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities.
- Up to 25% travel requirements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of technical infrastructure support experience.
- 2+ years of networking experience.
- 2+ years of working with clients and servers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment.
- CCNA or equivalent networking certifications.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $46,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $103,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
