A contract Occupational Therapist is needed to support students across all grade levels (K-12) in a dynamic school environment located in Spring, TX. This position is for the current school year (CSY) and involves working closely with educators, students, and families to promote improved functional skills and successful participation in academic and school activities. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and assess students' occupational therapy needs within the school setting Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies Provide recommendations and training to staff and families to facilitate student success Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapist license Experience working with children in a school setting, preferably K-12 Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices and education regulations Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to create engaging and effective therapy interventions tailored to student needs Location: Spring, TX This contract role offers an opportunity to contribute to the educational success and well-being of school-aged children.
