A full-time school psychologist position is available in a small mountain community serving a K-12 school district in San Jose, CA. This contract role offers an opportunity to support multiple sites within a close-knit district known for its scenic environment and dedicated staff. The assignment begins as soon as possible and may extend through the full school year.

Responsibilities include conducting psychological testing and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students from Transitional Kindergarten through 12th grade. Counseling and behavioral services are not part of this role. The psychologist will primarily work onsite across five school locations, with the potential of an itinerant schedule among the sites. Qualified candidates will hold a valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology. This position requires strong assessment skills, experience in educational evaluation, and the ability to collaborate with educators and families to support student success. Candidates must be based locally, as remote or hybrid work options are not available.
