Cocktail Lounge General Manager

Encore Cocktail Lounge is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee all aspects of our intimate and stylish cocktail lounge opening in the Playhouse district. The ideal candidate will be a passionate hospitality professional with a strong background in bar operations, mixology, customer service, and team leadership. This role is responsible for ensuring a high-quality guest experience, maximizing profitability, and fostering a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the lounge, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction. Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, manage costs, and achieve business goals. Hire, train, and manage staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional service. Monitor inventory levels and oversee ordering of supplies to maintain efficient operations. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor laws and regulations. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality products and favorable pricing. Implement and oversee comprehensive marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract and retain clientele. Plan, coordinate, and execute events that align with the lounge's brand and attract diverse audiences. Be a hands on support during peak periods, driving customer experience. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and care. Collaborate with the ownership group to set goals, plan events, and enhance the lounge's brand image. Qualifications: Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry. Strong understanding of bar operations, mixology trends, and customer service best practices. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a team. Financial acumen and experience with budgeting, cost control, and profit maximization. Knowledge of POS systems and operational technology. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities. Experience in marketing, event planning, and customer engagement strategies. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
