Job Description: As a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), you will provide respiratory care to patients, including administering oxygen therapy, managing ventilators, and assisting with pulmonary rehabilitation. This role involves assessing patient conditions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure effective respiratory care.
Responsibilities: - Administer respiratory therapies and treatments as prescribed by physicians - Monitor and adjust ventilators and other respiratory equipment - Conduct diagnostic tests and assess patient respiratory status - Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatments - Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans - Collaborate with medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements: - Active Registered Respiratory Therapist certification (RRT) - Recent NICU experience preferred - Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy - Strong knowledge of respiratory care techniques and equipment - Excellent communication and patient care skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Willingness to travel
