A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available to support a K-12 school in Joliet, Illinois. This contract role spans the full academic school year (NSY) and offers the opportunity to apply expertise in behavior analysis to enhance student success and well-being within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities: Design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on student assessments Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify factors influencing student behavior Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate behavior strategies into the classroom Provide ongoing training and consultation to school personnel and families on behavior management techniques Monitor and evaluate intervention progress using data-driven methods to make necessary adjustments Ensure compliance with state and federal education guidelines related to behavioral supports Desired Qualifications: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and assessment tools Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups including educators, caregivers, and students Skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of a school environment Location: Joliet, Illinois This contract appointment offers a meaningful chance to positively influence student outcomes through evidence-based behavior analysis while working alongside multidisciplinary school teams.
