The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). The position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Responsibilities include: Implementing treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP.
Documenting student progress and performance.
Assisting with screenings and assessments as directed by the SLP.
Supporting the SLP in providing a positive and effective learning environment.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff as needed.
Qualifications: Must hold a valid SLPA license or certification.
Experience working with a pediatric population, preferably within a school setting, is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
