A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant is sought for a contract position at an elementary school in Port Hueneme, CA. Key Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification Previous experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged children Ability to collaborate effectively with both onsite and remote SLP teams Strong communication and organizational skills Responsibilities include: Delivering speech and language therapy to elementary students as part of the caseload assigned Implementing individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress Managing documentation, progress notes, and compliance with school policies This is a full-time contract position during the normal school year, averaging 37.5 hours per week. The role requires working within an elementary school environment and coordinating services with both onsite staff and remote SLP professionals.
