Responsibilities

Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with Wealth Management and Capital Markets business objectives

Partner with division leaders to identify opportunities for technological enhancement and innovation

Establish technology governance frameworks that balance innovation with security and compliance requirements

Represent technology considerations in executive-level planning and decision-making

Oversee architecture, development, and maintenance of platforms supporting investment management, trading, portfolio management, and client reporting

Direct the evaluation and implementation of third-party financial technology solutions

Ensure integration of wealth management and capital markets systems with core banking infrastructure

Lead technology modernization initiatives to replace legacy systems with current solutions

Manage a team of technology professionals including engineers, architects, and delivery leads

Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence

Develop talent through mentorship, training, and growth opportunities

Build collaborative relationships between technology teams and business stakeholders

Ensure all systems meet regulatory requirements including SEC, FINRA, and OCC standards

Implement robust data security measures to protect sensitive financial and client information

Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning for critical systems

Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams on technology risk assessments

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

10+ years of progressive technology experience in financial services, with at least 5 years in wealth management or capital markets

7+ years in technology leadership roles with demonstrated success in managing complex projects and teams

Strong understanding of investment management platforms, trading systems, and financial market data infrastructure

Technical Knowledge

Expert understanding of wealth management and capital markets technology ecosystems

Experience with portfolio management systems, order management systems, and investment accounting platforms

Knowledge of market data platforms, trading connectivity, and execution management systems

Understanding of API integration, data architecture, and cloud infrastructure in financial services

Familiarity with regulatory technology requirements in wealth management

Leadership & Business Skills

Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts for business audiences

Strategic thinking with proven ability to align technology initiatives with business outcomes

Strong vendor management skills and experience negotiating complex technology contracts

Demonstrated success in leading organizational change and technology transformation

Preferred Experience

Implementation of major wealth management platforms

Experience with capital markets trading platforms and market connectivity

Background in digital transformation of wealth management client experiences

Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in investment management

Experience with API strategy and open banking initiatives

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation Compensation range (base pay): $133,975.00-$227,758.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range. Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
