Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Planning Specialist, where your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage the CMMS, plan and schedule work, and ensure parts are kitted to serve as a vital resource across our operation. Mill Production and Quality Priorities: Collaborate closely with the Maintenance Superintendent in setting maintenance priorities for the short and medium term during regular meetings. CMMS Management:

Create comprehensive job plans that encompass safety steps, required PPE, manpower, parts, tools, estimated hours, best practices, and specifications. Organize maintenance documentation so it is easily accessible and not stored in random locations. Maintain accurate historical records in the CMMS.

Ensure the CMMS system meets WF standards: Update job plans and routes based on feedback from trades personnel. Keep equipment history current in the CMMS. Communicate recurring issues with maintenance personnel. Reliability Focus: Collaborate with reliability personnel to ensure reliability routes, standards, and tolerances are up to date. Scheduling: Prepare work schedules 3-14 days in advance. Aim for over 75% of work hours to be fully scheduled for maintenance team members. Ensure that 80-90% of all work is ready to be scheduled one week in advance and at least 50% for the second week. Work in conjunction with leadership to coordinate and complete jobs efficiently. Liaise with vendors and outside contractors when maintenance or repair services are necessary. Parts and Material Kitting: Collaborate with stores for efficient kitting of job parts. Identify necessary parts and materials for different tasks. Order non-stock parts for work orders ensuring timely completion. Downtime Management: Review downtime reports daily and engage in RCFA team activities to recommend and implement solutions for failures. Performance Indicators: Generate and distribute weekly planning and CMMS reports aligned with KPIs. Key Competencies: Gain exposure to a variety of on-site training sessions related to lubrication, fasteners, hydraulics, PLC, controls, etc. as relevant to the mill. Training in areas like Noria MLT1, Vibration Level 1, etc. can further enhance your expertise. Essential Qualities for Success: Collaborate actively with mechanical, electrical, and reliability trades, maintaining a hands-on approach.
