Position Summary:
We are seeking a focused and driven Teacher to join our team. The best fit must create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role requires creativity, patience, and a strong commitment to early childhood education. In addition to teaching, this role also involves performing administrative assistant responsibilities on campus to ensure smooth daily operations and effective support for staff, students, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement creative lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and emotionally supportive classroom environment.
Encourage exploration, problem-solving, and hands-on learning through engaging activities.
Monitor and assess children's development and provide individualized support where needed.
Establish strong communication with parents/guardians to discuss progress and concerns.
Organize and facilitate group activities, storytelling, music, and art projects.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning space that meets health and safety guidelines.
Guide children in developing self-regulation skills, conflict resolution, and positive social interactions.
Prepare classroom materials and resources to support learning objectives.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the curriculum and overall learning experience of learners.
Track attendance, maintain records, and prepare reports on student development.
Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding student development, concerns, and achievements.
Perform administrative assistant duties on campus, including scheduling, filing, preparing documents, handling correspondence, and assisting with daily operational needs.
Support the Campus Director and staff with administrative tasks to ensure smooth coordination between teaching and administrative functions.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Child Development Associate Certification is an edge
Has experience working with children
Strong understanding of early childhood development theories and best practices.
Adapt diverse teaching methods accordingly.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for fostering a love for learning in young children.
Knowledge of classroom management techniques that support emotional and behavioral growth.
Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR (preferred).
Administrative experience or skills in office support is an advantage.
