ITS is working with an industry leader to find a Sales Account Manager to expand market share, strengthen client partnerships, and maximize profitability. This virtual role focuses on developing and maintaining strong customer relationships through solution-based sales strategies, effective negotiation, and a consultative approach to account management.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively increase market share by identifying opportunities and driving growth within assigned accounts. Demonstrate strong closing skills and negotiate to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Build and expand customer relationships through high-quality, solution-oriented interactions. Assess client needs and deliver tailored strategies that create measurable value. Utilize team selling techniques to promote products, services, and digital platforms. Identify, qualify, and prioritize new business opportunities with early-stage growth customers. Collaborate with leadership and peers to shape territory and account strategy. Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders; overnight travel required as needed. Apply proactive selling strategies using digital tools to maximize efficiency. Develop and maintain relationships across multiple customer departments, including purchasing, engineering, and operations. Host and attend client entertainment activities (lunches, dinners, events) as appropriate. Create and execute structured 30- and 60-day call plans. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and strategies in CRM software. Partner with internal teams to ensure timely follow-up on inquiries and project opportunities. Provide accurate annual sales forecasts by customer, including revenue and volume. Additional Responsibilities:
Complete all administrative tasks and reports accurately and on time. Continuously develop sales skills, expand industry knowledge, and build professional networks. Manage customer-specific inventory programs for assigned accounts. Monitor and report on competitor activity and industry trends. Leverage market insights to support strategic marketing initiatives. Qualifications:
Proven success in B2B sales, account management, or business development. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions. Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce experience preferred). Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field preferred.
