Are you a quilter and like bringing joy and comfort to others? Sutter Care at Home Hospice would love to partner with individual quilters or guilting guilds to bring quilts to those on our hospice service. We provide lap quilts and "fidget quilts" for our patients living with dementia. Fidget quilts help to calm "busy," anxious hands. If you or your quilting guild would like to donate your time to this project please reachout today! To become a hospice volunteer at Sutter Care at Home the greatest gift you can offer is your time, your compassion, and caring nature. If you are interested in visiting hospice patients, hospice volunteer training and ongoing support are provided to volunteers,

so experience is not required.

Volunteers are trained to enhance the overall goal of meeting the physical, emotional and practical needs of hospice patients and their families. Quilting volunteers, are not required to go through our formal training program, however. For more information about being a quilting volunteer, or a patient volunteer, please reach out! ** We also welcome certified professionals who wish to provide massage/Reiki/art/music/animal therapy and are looking for Spanish speaking volunteers ** Contact the

Volunteer Program Coordinator, Jennifer Fisher , to receive an application and learn more about our comprehensive and enriching online, self-paced training. Email:
