Marketing Assistant

CHM Bible Theatre is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to volunteer their expertise in supporting the organization’s marketing and outreach initiatives. The Marketing Assistant will play a vital role in helping promote our programs, productions, and community services through social media management, newsletters, event coordination, and donor communications. This individual will work closely with the Marketing Specialist, CEO, and leadership team to strengthen CHM Bible Theatre’s visibility, expand community engagement, and support recruitment and fundraising efforts. Responsibilities: Assist in managing CHM Bible Theatre’s social media platforms by creating, scheduling, and monitoring posts. Support marketing campaigns that promote productions, youth programs, and community events. Help coordinate and distribute newsletters, donor updates, and other communications. Assist in maintaining and updating the donor database with accurate contact and giving information. Collaborate with the team to develop creative content for promotional materials, flyers, and event announcements. Help organize and support special events, including rehearsals, performances, and fundraising activities. Contribute to community outreach and recruitment efforts to engage new participants, volunteers, and donors. Provide administrative support for marketing projects, ensuring deadlines are met and materials are accurate. Qualifications: Strong interest or background in marketing, communications, or public relations (experience in nonprofit or arts marketing a plus). Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) and basic marketing tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with donor databases, email platforms, or design tools (e.g., Canva) preferred but not required. Passion for the arts, creativity, and CHM Bible Theatre’s mission to inspire and engage the community.
