Manufacturing Manager

to join our leadership team and help oversee daily operations at our Pontiac facility.

Position Overview: The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for leading our thermoforming, automation and maintenance teams to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across all areas of production.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met Manage and develop a team of supervisors and production staff Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives Monitor production schedules, staffing, and resources to optimize efficiency Develop, manage and monitor departmental KPIs, and present to team at quarterly Management review Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and improve processes Track and report key performance metrics, including output, downtime, and labor efficiency Support cost reduction initiatives and budget management for plant operations Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred) 5+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership, preferably within plastics, automotive, or related industries Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methods Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience with Automation a plus Experience in thermoforming a plus Experience in the packaging industry a plus Benefits:
