Title : Plant Controller
Key Responsibilities : Financial Oversight : Oversee all financial aspects of the plant operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports. Cost Management : Analyze production costs and recommend strategies to improve profitability. Work closely with the management team to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements. Budget Development and Control : Lead the annual budget process for the plant. Monitor and control expenses within the allocated budget, and report variances to the management. Inventory Management : Oversee inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and optimization. Work with the supply chain team to manage inventory costs and turnover. Capital Projects : Evaluate and advise on investments in equipment, infrastructure, and technology, and manage financial aspects of capital projects. Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Identify and mitigate financial risks. Internal Controls : Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial transactions. Team Leadership and Development : Lead and develop the finance team within the plant. Provide coaching and mentorship to staff members. Stakeholder Communication : Communicate financial insights and recommendations to plant management and corporate finance leaders. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes. Performance Analysis : Conduct regular performance analysis to identify areas for improvement. Prepare and present financial analyses and KPI reports.
Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred. Several years of experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong understanding of cost accounting and financial reporting. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
