This is a high-impact role, marking the establishment of our pricing department from the ground up. You will be responsible for setting a clear vision, establishing best practices, and building a top-performing team dedicated to pricing excellence. Your key responsibilities will include strategic pricing leadership, crafting effective packaging and monetization strategies, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and execution, conducting market intelligence, performing competitive benchmarking, and driving data-driven optimization of pricing strategies. To succeed, you should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in pricing, packaging, or monetization strategy, particularly within SaaS or recurring revenue business models. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful track record in executing monetization strategies, possess strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills, and have an in-depth understanding of SaaS metrics, pricing models, and buyer psychology. Influencing C-level stakeholders, partnering with diverse teams to align pricing and packaging strategies with organizational goals, and leading the internal implementation of pricing adjustments are crucial responsibilities of this role. Experience in developing go-to-market strategies and leveraging market research and competitive analysis to drive pricing decisions is essential.
