Project Manager(Manufacturing) Job at Quest Global in Fort Worth

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Drive execution of cost-out projects to actualize real savings 
• Identify cost out-projects/areas of opportunities through design optimization, identify bottle neck processes in plant through Gemba walk by collaborating with engineering, operations, quality, program management, sourcing and service teams
• Perform extensive data dives on EBOM Vs MBOM Vs ABOM to identify gaps in processes
• Analyze current design/process, produce and present technical feasibility report, recommend alternate concepts, create value story/ROI 
• Input collection, project execution, toll gate reviews, support project actualization and query resolution
• Lead and support cost-out project technical review meetings.
• Ability to interpret with minimal available details 

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical/production/electrical) or Operations Management from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 2 years of cost out experience in a manufacturing environment (metal/fabrication/Welding/Assembly processes)
• Strong understanding of supply chain and shop operations
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional stakeholders
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
• Siemens NX and TCE experience- Desired 
• LEAN certification Desired
• Expertise in MS office

 Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in and around a heavy manufacturing facility
• Prolonged standing and walking
• Walking on slippery or uneven surfaces
