is looking for a
Manufacturing Manager - Level K (3rd Shift ) to join our HEAATT Machining team in
Portland, Oregon This is a 3rd shift position. The operating hours are from 11 PM to 6 AM, Monday through Friday. This will have rotating weekend coverage approximately every six weeks.
The selected candidate will be working in a very dynamic, fast-paced environment while learning new skills, solving challenging problems, and experiencing opportunities to grow in the HEATT organization.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Manages, develops and motivates employees Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role 3+ years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment Domestic and international travel as needed Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree 3+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment and/or business unit team 3+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment 3+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives 3+ year of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS) Drug Free Workplace:
