Crown Technical Systems is a leading manufacturer of power distribution and control equipment, including relay panels, switchgear, control enclosures, and custom substation enclosures. With facilities in Fontana, CA, Dallas, TX, and Toronto, ON, Crown aims to make power grids safe, smart, dependable, and secure, serving utilities, data centers, renewables, industrial, and transportation sectors. Position: Business Development Account Manager

Based in Fontana, CA, your role involves strategic planning, client engagement, and collaboration. You will review pipeline activity, reach out to prospective and current clients, and conduct onsite meetings to assess needs and present solutions. You will work closely with engineering, estimating, and marketing teams to align offerings with client expectations. This role requires travel up to 50% to customer sites, factories, and industry events. Your day will also include CRM updates, tracking performance metrics, and participating in strategy sessions. Evenings may involve networking or follow-up activities to build relationships and close deals. Typical Daily Activities

Plan and prioritize sales activities to meet business goals. Develop and maintain customer relationships to foster growth and satisfaction. Update contact and sales information in CRM systems. Coordinate local marketing activities with sales efforts. Learn and understand all aspects of the sales process, including services, financial offers, and negotiations. Respond to sales inquiries and follow up appropriately. Collaborate with other teams to present services to target customers. Monitor market and competitor activities and report findings. Negotiate and communicate effectively to develop profitable and sustainable relationships. Participate in customer and internal meetings to support business development. Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred. At least five years of experience in product sales, technical account management, or similar roles, preferably in utilities, manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors. Effective communication skills with end-users and stakeholders. Ability to research and understand supply chain challenges. Benefits
