As our Information Systems Security Engineer, you will have the opportunity to : Analyze and evaluate information systems Update security relevant configurations Work on systems that support our Nations warfighters Research and evaluate technologies and standards
Qualifications
Required skills: Previous experience employing risk management methodologies, NIST/ ICD-503 Vulnerability assessment scanning tools Strong Cyber, Cyber Risk, or QA technical knowledge and expertise in addition to familiarity with associated processes, standards and procedures TS/SCI w/ Poly is required DoD 8570 compliance is required Good communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Bachelor's degree or equivalent (typical) Typically requires seven years of related work experience.
Desired Certifications
Security+ Certification Other DoD 8570 Complaint IA Certification Demonstrated experience with implementing NIST 800-53 controls Demonstrated experience with developing test plans for information systems Demonstrated experience with the RMF process Demonstrated experience with Xacta/SNOW Demonstrated experience with Linux (Red Hat) Demonstrated experience with security network devices (Firewalls and Switches) Demonstrated experience with Container Technology such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc. Experience with DevSecOps Familiarity with code quality and code analyzing security tools

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
