Job Description
Reporting to the Vice Provost for Academic Success, the Senior Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Vice Provost and assisting other staff members of the Office of the Provost with administrative activities. Job Duties
Manage the calendar of the Vice Provost by scheduling meetings and appointments. Prepare accurate and timely reports, correspondence, meeting minutes and other documents as required. Answer and screen incoming calls, greet guests, provide customer service to students, staff, faculty and guests, handle incoming inquiries by researching and providing accurate answers. Process travel requests and expense reports for the Vice Provost. Assist the Vice Provost with various special projects and initiatives. Coordinate events for the Office of the Provost. Process Position Change Request, create requisitions/purchase orders and pay invoices. Participate in all commencement ceremonies on the Core Commencement Team. Provide complex, executive-level support to the Vice Provost using a high-degree of initiative, judgement, and discretion. Provide peripheral administrative support to the Division of Academic Affairs units. Other duties as assigned.
