POSITION SUMMARY:
The Annuity & Insurance Solutions Analyst is a member of the Wealth Management Team and an extension of Kestra Insurance Planning responsible for enabling Kestra Financial's broker/dealer insurance activity with a focus on deepening annuity and insurance integration across all affiliated platforms. This role serves as a key liaison between Kestra Financial, Bluespring Wealth Partners, and Kestra Insurance Planning, ensuring alignment of sales efforts, product adoption, and revenue growth initiatives.
This role supports the annuity and insurance experience for Kestra Financial in collaboration with Kestra Insurance Planning, including but not limited to product shelf management, carrier relationships, compensation, technology enablement, and compliance alignment. The Annuity & Insurance Solutions Analyst plays a vital role in maximizing the Kestra insurance P&L, leading adoption campaigns, and serving as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
This employee must bring a strong commercial mindset, deep product expertise, and the ability to navigate cross-functional partnerships to drive revenue, elevate advisor experience, and scale firm capabilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: Serve as connective tissue between Kestra Financial (KF), Bluespring Wealth Partners (BWP), and Kestra Insurance Planning (KIP) for registered products Support KIP in delivering positive annuity and insurance experiences for KF and BWP advisors for broker-dealer related activity Drive insurance activity to KIP Assist in the evolution of the supervised product shelf, navigating relevant insurance products through KF product committee Drive awareness and adoption of annuities and insurance across the Kestra ecosystem Partner to Compliance and Sales Supervision on insurance matters Help in the administration and reduction of BGA relationships Troubleshoot insurance related issues affecting advisors (compensation, tech, carriers, etc.) Interact with Kestra's Financial Professionals and recruits on insurance activity representing KIP and KF as needed Support the governance of annuity/insurance tech-related solutions KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual should have the following skills and abilities:
Deep knowledge of annuity and insurance products, carriers, and distribution frameworks Understanding of compliance and supervision related to insurance and financial product sales Strong business and financial acumen Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to present at internal and external events Ability to collaborate effectively across executive leadership, advisors, and product teams Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to advancing Kestra's mission Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree required CFP or other wealth management designation preferred Minimum of 5 years of insurance product experience (preferably in the advisor industry) Have relevant insurance and FINRA licenses INTERNAL APPLICANT POLICY:
Internal applicants must be in good standing and have a minimum of 1 year of service with Kestra. Internal applicants must also have a minimum of 1 year service in current role unless approved by EVP.
