Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Assist clinical staff in the Radiology Department with basic operations. Main tasks include preparing patients and the procedure room, obtaining medical histories, and supporting imaging procedures. Additional duties involve monitoring waiting areas, assisting with communication, transporting patients and materials, and maintaining supplies. Key Tasks: Prepare patients and the procedure room for imaging. Obtain patient medical histories and verify information via hospital databases. Assist with patient transport and movement within the department. Support departmental communication and monitor waiting areas. Transport contrast materials and equipment as needed. Report equipment malfunctions and supply shortages. Maintain and store supplies and medical gases. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure efficient workflow. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
