Senior Customer Support Technician
to join Element Fleet Management. As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products, services, and solutions to our clients. As the Senior Customer Support Technician, you will be the point of contact for clients in need of assets that cannot be ordered from OEMs. You will offer support and consultation during the vehicle purchase process from dealers, arrange upfitting and transportation logistics for stock with upfit requests, as well as all Heavy Truck, Medium Truck, Forklift, Trailer, and Equipment orders, both out of stock and dealer orders. A Day in the Life Serve as the client-facing point of contact for out-of-stock purchases
Receive and review client orders
Search dealer inventory
Review and send quality offers to clients
Manage workflow from order submission through delivery
Provide consultative input on alternative vehicles and ordering methods for effective delivery of complete vehicles (turn-key with upfit complete)
Arrange for upfitting throughout the order process and post-delivery as needed
Support order resolution in collaboration with FPS for dealership vehicle purchases
Build and maintain key relationships with dealers and suppliers
Provide insight on dealership inventory status
Assist with licensing inquiries and transportation issue resolution
Support departmental initiatives for best acquisition policies
Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 3-5 years of related industry experience
Fleet or mechanical experience, ideally with upfitting
Strong industry knowledge and familiarity with current vehicle lease laws and restrictions
Proven problem-solving skills with an analytical approach
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong communication skills
Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office
*The internal business title is Sr Associate, Truck & Upfit The salary range for this position is $49,100 to $67,500 annually, depending on experience, skills, and location.
