Software Engineer

Our great client in Franklin, WI has an immediate opening for a Software Engineer. If you are interested, please apply with resume to aboettcher@apexsystems.com. The ideal candidate should have hands-on software development experience with scripting languages (Python, or Javascript, or both), version control (Git), CI/CD, unit and integration testing, developing ReST APIs and reusable modules. The candidate should also have experience working with AWS services including S3, EC2, DynamoDB. Experience with asynchronous messaging platforms like MQ and Kafka is highly favorable. Strong programming skills in Python and Java. Proficient with Shell Scripting and automation. Proficient in programming in one or more of Python, Node.js and Java. Hands-on experience with Git for version control. Experience in reverse engineering and analyzing complex systems. Strong documentation skills for creating detailed technical documents. Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies. Expertise in developing and managing APIs. Knowledge of integration patterns and best practices. Proven experience with IBM MQ on Linux, MQ Appliance, Mainframe MQ is a plus. Proven experience with Apache Kafka is a plus. EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
