The Fin Solutions Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. The applicant will support firmwide risk reporting efforts focused on the measurement and management of interest rate risk on Citis proprietary forecasting platform, RUBY. The analyst will serve as a recognized technical and operational authority for the business on all aspects of the monthly rate risk production process. Strong subject matter familiarity with Interest Rate risk topics is required, including discounted cashflow analysis, EVE, EVS, IRE, market interest rate indexes and shocking methodologies thereof. Additional familiarity with general financial planning and risk concepts is also desired in areas such as transfer pricing, balance sheet management, intercompany transactions, and overall financial planning paradigms. Much of this work will require comfort with data analysis in SQL and Python-based tools. The candidate should have developed communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and convince subject matter experts or risk managers, including those who do not have the same level of technical insight. The analyst will work with technology partners to drive automation, reduce manual processes, and establish controls while supporting ongoing development priorities of Citis forecasting architecture. Responsibilities Assists in the monthly Interest Rate Risk production cycle Coordinate activities across RUBY platform workstreams including Interest Rate Risk, Stress Testing, and Financial Planning Provide SMEs with a trusted operational resource to investigate issues, test developments, and collaborate with technology partners to implement solutions Collaborate with technology partners to scope, resource, and develop new platform functionalities and refine calculation methodologies Create and maintain documented processes for user training and auditability of monthly processes Serve as a resource for Treasury and Risk partners on critical regulatory deliverables Deliver multiple, high-priority deliverables and collaborate with various time-sensitive stakeholders Develop, train, and motivate junior staff

Qualifications

6-10 years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred In-depth knowledge of banking products/systems preferred Strong knowledge of interest rate risk concepts such as duration, convexity, IRE, EVE, and discounted cash flow valuation Strong knowledge of market interest rate indexes and impact to banking balance sheet High comfort with data analysis tasks using SQL Strong communication skills; ability to present complex facts clearly to senior stakeholders Understanding of balance sheet management and financial planning essentials: intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, equity credits, financial forecasting Basic familiarity with econometric modeling Basic familiarity with Python or other programming languages Familiarity with QRM highly desirable

Bachelors degree; masters degree potentially
