TITLE: Sr. C/C++ Linux Engineer (Greater San Antonio Area, TX) Direct Hire Opportunity Onsite Requirements
At least 5 years of enterprise software development in C/C++ with demonstrated experience designing and implementing product requirements Experience developing and debugging software in a Linux environment Comfortable on a Linux command line interface Experience with scripting (Bash, POSIX shell) Experience with basic FLOSS development tools (gcc, binutils, strace, valgrind, etc.) Experience performing peer code review Motivated, self-starting, and eager to learn Responsibilities
Design and implement software and systems based on defined requirements for existing and upcoming cryptographic products Participate in software product design and architecture discussions Confer with software team members and solutions architects to develop, understand, and update requirements for product features Read and comply with published standards and technical documentation Write and maintain programming documentation on subjects including code, API functionality, and software issue creation/resolution Maintain confidentiality with regard to information being processed, stored, or accessed Lead and mentor junior engineers Strongly Prefer
Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field Knowledge of the application of cryptographic concepts Experience with version control software (git) SQL experience and strong understanding of relational databases Experience with TLS and PKI certificates Experience using Jenkins and Jenkins files for CI/CD Experience using enterprise tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and GitLab Seniority level
