Eurofins Environment Testing, North Central is hiring a

Regional Account Manager

for their Chicago Territory. The Regional Account Manager will have an assigned client portfolio based on region and account sector, with the primary responsibility of maintaining and growing productive relationships with critical active accounts, prospecting new accounts, and helping grow market share in the municipal water testing sector. The position ensures client awareness of all products and services offered by Eurofins Environment Testing US and provides a valuable interface between the client and the company by communicating customer needs and desires to the organization, fulfilling the role of client advocate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Meet revenue retention and growth objectives for assigned region Provide vision and acquire new accounts to sustain growth by representing Eurofins Environment Testing America and clearly communicating services to new customers and markets Identify opportunities and capture profitable work by following up on leads, negotiating, and closing Minimize attrition of client revenue and profit Increase diversity of services sold to clients Develop and implement critical client account sales plan Foster productive working relationships between clients and the company Provide a sales forecast for assigned region and update quarterly Provide critical support to national account, product and market based strategic sales initiatives Work cooperatively with other Regional Account Managers to foster team-selling initiatives where applicable Report critical sales pipeline activities within the prescribed CRM tools Effectively communicate client requirements to operational personnel, seeking necessary approvals prior to acceptance or rejection of opportunities Provide feedback on market conditions and client developments to foster continuous improvement and development of solutions Provide near term revenue forecasts to operations to ensure operational preparedness and satisfy client demands for service Work with Director of Sales & Marketing to assist with strategic goals as needed Work with Director of Sales for establishing pricing on bids Work with Regional Directors to assure capacity for projects being won when necessary Work with the Director of Sales & Marketing to win high revenue accounts nationally Attend local industry functions to network and gain exposure for Eurofins Environment Testing America Attend national industry conferences and/or events as participant and/or exhibitor, as needed Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications: BS/BA in Sciences or related field Minimum of 1-2 years progressively successful sales experience in the environmental field preferred or in a service industry required Lab experience and exposure to environmental industry preferred Knowledge of IAQ accreditations and certifications preferred Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) Ideal Candidates will have: Writing sales and account plans Familiarity with lab functions, terminology and environmental methodologies Knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, and databases Excellent written and verbal communications skills Sales skills: prospecting, interviewing, negotiating, and closing Analytical, planning and organizational skills Excellent computer skills including PowerPoint Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with clients Ability to penetrate buying centers to maximize sales Strong written and verbal communication with clients and lab personnel Ability to thrive in a self-directed, self-motivating environment Ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize workload effectively Detail oriented Team-oriented with laboratory personnel and other employees Proactive, creative and decisive; strong ethics Additional Information

Position is Full Time, Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM Territory Location is Illinois (Chicagoland), Wisconsin and NW Indiana Position includes Quarterly Sales Growth Commission Plan and Car Allowance Compensation : Base Salary for Regional Account Manager would fall within the range of $75,000 to $85,000 based on applicable experience and previous sales exposure.
