Were looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our Farmers Insurance team in Duluth as a
Sales Manager Trainee . This unique position mirrors the role of an Insurance Producer inside an agency but comes with a
clear career growth path
upon successful completion of our mentorship program, youll have the opportunity to
run your own Farmers Insurance agency . Position Overview
As a Sales Manager Trainee, you will develop essential sales, client management, and business leadership skills. You will work closely with an experienced agency owner and participate in a structured mentorship program designed to prepare you for agency ownership. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs. Offer tailored insurance solutions, including Property & Casualty and Life & Health products. Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and community engagement. Manage policy renewals, process changes, and provide ongoing client support. Participate in professional development and training sessions. Learn agency operations, staff management, and business planning.
Qualifications
Property & Casualty and Accident, Life & Health insurance licenses preferred. Willingness to obtain required licenses if not currently held ( coursework provided and paid for by the agency ). Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to lead and grow a business.
