Our Account Managers leverage Spots services and freight solutions to identify potential new customers, nurture relationships, and build lasting partnerships. Responsibilities include prospecting, communicating, quoting, developing, operating, and maintaining customer accounts. Additional Information

$45,000 base pay with potential commission within the first year. This is a non-exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for overtime. On-site work required 5 days a week in Indianapolis, Indiana. Job Responsibilities

Business Development:

Understand prospective clients shipping requirements and manage a sales pipeline through cold calls and communication. Customer Growth:

Develop and execute strategies for each account to ensure continuous, profitable growth while maintaining our freight standards. Relationship Management:

Serve as a resource for customers on service offerings, market trends, and industry standards. Provide accurate quotes and develop strategies to address client challenges. Freight Operations:

Ensure operational efficiencies through load building, scheduling, issue escalation, and capacity securement. Collaborate with Carrier Sales to find the best options. Performance Results:

Meet or exceed sales, margin, revenue, and customer service KPIs. Communication:

Maintain proactive communication with customers to fulfill commitments, exceed expectations, and resolve shipment issues. Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of sales and customer service experience. Logistics industry knowledge preferred. Skills

Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics. Entrepreneurial spirit, motivation, and competitiveness. Strong organization and attention to detail. Adaptability, multi-tasking, and a sense of urgency. Decisiveness, problem-solving, and issue resolution skills. How to Apply
