Overview
Foot Locker is looking for a
QA Lead
to drive testing for our
Distributed Order Management (DOM) transformation , with a focus on
Manhattan Associates or similar platforms . Youll lead test strategy, automation, and CI/CD integration across vendors and systems all while championing process improvement in a fast-paced Agile and DevOps environment. This role is key to ensuring our tech can keep up with the heat of sneaker drops and the scale of our enterprise upgrades. Strategic Test Leadership Define and own the
end-to-end test strategy
for the DOM implementation. Align testing objectives with business goals, technical architecture, and delivery milestones. Define test objectives, scope, environments, and data requirements. Establish and monitor quality metrics (e.g., defect density, test coverage, automation effectiveness) to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Execution & Delivery Lead the planning and execution of
functional ,
integration ,
system ,
performance , and
UAT
testing. Manage testing milestones and ensure alignment with overall program timelines. Oversee
defect lifecycle management , including triage and resolution across internal and external teams.
Automation & CI/CD Implement and scale
test automation frameworks
for regression and integration testing. Integrate automated testing into
CI/CD pipelines
to support continuous delivery and early defect detection. Promote
shift-left testing
practices and test-driven development (TDD) principles.
Enterprise Collaboration Coordinate testing efforts across
Manhattan Associates ,
third-party vendors , and
boundary systems
(e.g., ERP, CRM, WMS). Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Infrastructure teams. Navigate complex stakeholder environments and ensure alignment across
global teams .
Team Leadership Lead and mentor QA engineers and testers across
onshore and offshore
locations. Foster a culture of quality, innovation, and accountability within the QA organization. Manage resource planning, onboarding, and performance tracking. Manage testing milestones and ensure alignment with overall project timelines. Oversee defect management, triage, and resolution processes.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in
software testing . Proven experience with
Order Management Systems , preferably
Manhattan . Strong background in
test strategy ,
automation , and
CI/CD integration . Experience managing testing across
third-party systems
and
enterprise integrations . Proficiency in
test management tools
(e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr). Hands-on experience with
automation tools
(e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). Familiarity with
CI/CD tools
(e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
Nice to Have Skills (Not Required): Experience with
API testing
(e.g., Postman, REST Assured). Knowledge of
performance testing tools
(e.g., JMeter, Gatling). Familiarity with
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience in
retail ,
e-commerce , or
supply chain
domains. ISTQB or equivalent
QA certification . Exposure to
service virtualization ,
contract testing , or
mocking frameworks . Understanding of
data synchronization ,
order orchestration , and
inventory visibility .
Benefits
The annual base salary range is $78,500 - $110,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
