As the Senior Sales & Account Manager at STAFFED INC., you'll play a key role in driving growth and delivering best-in-class staffing solutions across the hospitality and events industries. This position is designed for a strategic, people-first professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record in sales, client service, and project execution. You will co-lead the full sales lifecyclefrom prospecting and pitching to closing and nurturing long-term client partnershipswhile managing staffing logistics for high-profile events and activations. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, a collaborator across internal teams, and a champion of our brand promise: to build meaningful, lasting connections between top-tier talent and world-class experiences. Job Responsibilities
Sales & New Business Management
Oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting clients to closing deals and growing revenue. Develop and implement strategies for identifying, qualifying, and converting leads through outbound outreach, referrals, partnerships, and marketing support. Champion accurate and consistent CRM usage to ensure visibility into outreach, conversion rates, and customer journey progress. Foster long-term relationships with clients and partners, focusing on client retention and satisfaction. Partner with the Sales Department to identify and strategize on new business opportunities. Lead the creation of compelling client proposals and pitch materials in collaboration with marketing and leadership. Establish, monitor, and report on quarterly and annual sales goals; proactively adjust strategies to ensure targets are met or exceeded. Attend networking and industry events to build relationships, promote the company's services, and identify new business opportunities. Develop upsell/cross-sell temp to perm and permanent placement strategies within existing accounts, collaborating with recruitment and operations to meet expanded needs. Account and Event Management
Act as the main contact for incoming client RFPs to understand their needs, budget, and scope. Create and present estimates for client approval, communicating any pricing changes throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial client request to event logistics to post-event follow-up. Negotiate and manage client contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and profitability. Serve as the escalation point, swiftly addressing any last-minute changes, cancellations, or staffing-related challenges. Manage event staffing logistics from planning to execution: pre-event, onsite, and post-event in collaboration with the companys Talent Managers. Ensure all client events are adequately staffed and lead post-event reviews with clients and internal teams to gather feedback, capture lessons learned, and propose service improvements. Review and ensure accuracy in managing estimates, invoices, accounts receivables, and expense reports. Create seamless transition plans between Sales and Account Management/Recruitment teams to ensure accurate project fulfillment and client satisfaction. Own and track account profitability, identifying opportunities to increase margins through operational efficiency or value-added services. Team Development & Management
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members across sales, accounts, and recruitment, fostering growth and professional development. Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Operations, Sales, Talent, and Recruitment teams to ensure seamless execution and high-level client service. Promote a collaborative team environment focused on accountability, communication, and continuous improvement. Lead training efforts by helping to shape onboarding, best practices, and documentation for internal sales and account team processes. Lead by example, embodying STAFFED INC.s values of professionalism, partnership, and purpose-driven service. Support the Director of Account Operations in cultivating a high-performing, engaged team culture. Qualifications
5+ years
of professional experience in sales, account management, or client services within agency, staffing, hospitality, experiential marketing, fashion, retail, or events. Availability, flexibility, and willingness to attend client meetings, onsite activations, and industry/networking events across the US as needed. Ability to seamlessly manage multiple high-volume projects and client accounts, including budgets and revenue goals upwards of $1M+. Proven Leadership Experience:
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior team members while fostering collaboration across sales, operations, recruitment, and talent functions. Strategic Sales & Business Development:
Expertise in developing and implementing proactive outreach, upsell, and cross-sell strategies to secure new business and expand existing accounts. Financial Acumen:
Strong understanding of estimates, invoicing, account profitability, and cost management related to staffing and events. Client Relationship Management:
Track record of building long-term partnerships and serving as a main point of contact to high level stakeholders. Negotiation & Contract Management : Skilled in negotiating contracts, closing deals, and ensuring profitability while maintaining client satisfaction. Tech-Savvy:
Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and ability to adopt new sales and staffing platforms with ease. Communication & Presentation Skills:
