Position Details Type: Part-Time (37.5 Hours Biweekly) Shift: Evenings Hours: 3:00PM 11:30PM Pay: $70,000 - $77,500, Shift Differential where applicable
Job Summary The Administrative Supervisor ensures and maintains adequate and competent levels of patient care in all areas of operation. They collaborate with senior nursing leadership and assume responsibility for administrative activities in the absence of the on-site administrator. The role requires broad knowledge of nursing theory, management, and supervision principles. Responsibilities Plan, organize, and direct nursing services for continuity of patient care Organize work to optimize use of staff, services, and equipment Demonstrate critical thinking in problem solving Interpret policies and procedures to staff Provide informal training and guidance to nursing staff Handle administrative responsibilities in absence of senior leadership Discipline staff as needed and recommend ongoing disciplinary actions Maintain staffing levels during emergencies to ensure quality care Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and visitors Supervise and evaluate unit staff
Requirements NYS RN License required Bachelors Degree required; Masters preferred Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects Good organizational and priority-setting skills
