Overview
EPIC is seeking candidates who are aligned with our growth and values to support servicing and growth across multiple regions (Midwest, Northeast, West).
WHAT YOULL DO
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Process applications, policies, endorsements, binders, certificates, audit requests, agency billing, and other items related to servicing clients from all regions. Assist clients with policy coverages and related questions; review policy coverages for gaps and needs. Coordinate with Producers to assist client service needs; renew and retain assigned accounts; conduct renewal processes and provide best options. Maintain client files in appropriate systems and provide standard office/administrative support. Maintain carrier relationships and stay updated with changes from contracted carriers and industry trends. Other duties as assigned. Service
Establish and maintain trust with clients through proactive communication and timely resolution of questions and issues. Process all servicing items in a timely and accurate manner; educate clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions, and needs; assist with coverage changes. Meet quality and timeliness standards in the Agency Management System and document activity. Other duties as assigned. Marketing
Collaborate with Placement Department and Producers to transition new business. Submit renewal applications with proper documentation and follow up for quotes and policies. Enter policy information into carrier websites for quote options; negotiate premiums and commissions with underwriters and wholesalers. Present quote options to client/Producer; bind and issue policies as appropriate. Other duties may be assigned. Personal and Organizational Development
Set priorities, manage workflow, and ensure efficient processing of responsibilities. Maintain professional relations with clients, carriers, vendors, and colleagues; keep up-to-date client records and documentation. Communicate effectively, collaborate, and provide guidance to achieve business goals. Stay informed about industry trends, products, coverages, and technology to improve knowledge and performance. Resolve problems and enhance service in a timely manner; work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks. Maintain expert knowledge; other duties may be assigned. WHAT YOULL BRING
Full knowledge of Property Casualty lines of coverage and services; ability to analyze situations and draw solid conclusions. Experience with Agency Management Systems, rating procedures, coverages, and industry operations to manage and grow assigned clients. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet navigation; strong attention to detail and time management. Ability to multi-task and work both independently and in a team; strong interpersonal communication skills (written and oral). EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred. Two or more years of experience in a mid-size brokerage or carrier. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks. Indiana Property & Casualty License; valid drivers license; ability to travel as needed. The base pay offered will be determined based on experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data. WHY EPIC
