Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs a variety of radiologic procedures. Provides patient care during procedures. Typical Physical Demands
Standing, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking. Continuous: stooping/bending; reaching above and below shoulder level, frequent gripping of an object, pushing/pulling usual weight up to 50 pounds of force. Frequent: twisting body, lifting usual weight with assistance up to 50 pounds; carrying up to 40 pounds; reaching at shoulders, repetitive arm/hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods of time. Occasional: sitting, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting. Typical Working Conditions
Exposed to both inside and outside environmental conditions; cold temperatures due to the air conditioning. Subjected to noise/vibration from film processors. Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, mechanical/electrical units, chemicals and radiation. Work Environment is fast paced and high stressed due to patient census. Minimum Qualifications
A. Education/Certification and Licensure:
Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist; Current BLS certification. B. Experience:
