Barista At The Starbucks Inside MGM Grand

The job: As a barista at the Starbucks inside MGM Grand, you will create memorable guest experiences with a warm smile and attentive service. By understanding each guest's unique preferences and needs, you will ensure their visit is exceptional, leaving them with WOW moments they'll remember long after their stay. The starting rate: $15.4967 hourly + tips The day-to-day: Take and place order, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc. Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft Perform other job-related duties as requested The ideal candidate: High school diploma or GED 1+ years of prior guest service experience Ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays The perks & benefits: Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more Free meals in our employee dining room Free parking on and off shift Health & income protection benefits (for eligible employees) Professional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the community
