Performs diagnostic CT procedures within the CT Department using specific equipment. Rotates through diagnostic radiology as assigned and performs all responsibilities outlined in the CT Tech job description. Ensures radiation and general safety at all times. Minimum Qualifications
For West Virginia, Ohio, and Maryland locations: Hired before 4/1/2024: Certification in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist through NMTCB. Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification through the applicable state board. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Computed Tomography certification through ARRT or NMTCB within 2 years of hire. One (1) year of CT experience. Hired on or after 4/1/2024: Same education and certification requirements as above. One (1) year of CT experience. For Pennsylvania locations: Hired before 4/1/2024: Graduate from AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program. Certification in Radiography with ARRT or NMTCB. BLS certification within 30 days. CT certification through ARRT within 2 years. One (1) year of CT experience. Hired on or after 4/1/2024: Same education and experience as above. Core Duties and Responsibilities
Includes preparing exam rooms, performing procedures, patient safety, image production, and other duties as assigned, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained. Physical Requirements
Frequent walking, standing, lifting (up to 100 lbs), and other physical activities necessary for patient care and safety. Work Environment
Exposure to biological hazards, radiation, and high-stress situations, with reasonable accommodations available. Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of patient care, development, and pain management, along with understanding of safety and ethical practices. Additional Details
