Columbus, Indiana just 45 minutes south of
Indianapolis . Set on 6.5 fully-fenced acres, our secure and therapeutic environment is designed to support the mental health needs of
male and female youth ages 818 . We are currently seeking a
full-time Medical Director
to lead our
child and adolescent psychiatry services . This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate, experienced psychiatrist to make a lasting impact in a supportive, multidisciplinary care environment. Position Highlights Role:
Medical Director, Child and Adolescent Residential Treatment Program Location:
On-site or hybrid with some tele-psychiatry at Columbus Behavioral Center, Columbus, Indiana Schedule:
Full-time; Employed or Independent Contractor Treatment Settings:
Residential and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs Responsibilities Include:
Leadership and oversight of psychiatric treatment services Supervision of staff PMHNPs Participation in clinical call rotation Collaboration with clinical and administrative teams Ensure compliance with UHS policies and healthcare regulations Contribute to the strategic planning and program development
Qualifications
Active
Indiana medical license
or eligibility to obtain MD or DO
from an accredited medical school Board Certified in Psychiatry ( Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
preferred) 35 years of clinical psychiatric experience required Leadership experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting preferred Ability to supervise Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
