A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab Job Details: • Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM • Full-time position with immediate start available • Weekend requirement every third or fourth weekend • On-call requirement as selected in collaboration with other staff • No floating requirements to other locations • Current Louisiana State Board of Radiology license required • Current ARRT National Radiology Technology license required • Current BLS certification required • ACLS certification preferred and highly encouraged • Operate all cardiac catheterization lab equipment and digital processing equipment • Perform scrub assistant duties, X-ray equipment operation, and digital processing • Work with cardiac catheterization patients, peripherals, TAVR procedures, and device implantations • Ensure quality acquisition of cardiac catheterization digital images • Position catheterization lab table and set angles for procedures • Contribute to department operations by managing supplies and maintaining orderly work areas • Provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients • Specialization opportunities available in diagnostic cardiology, interventional cardiology, peripheral angiography, permanent pacemaker implantation, and automatic internal cardiac defibrillator implantation • Temporary to permanent position possibility available Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing advanced cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional services.
