The Vines Hospital
is currently recruiting for a full-time Nurse Manager to join our team of Behavioral Health Professionals. The Nursing Manager manages the delivery of quality psychiatric nursing care to their assigned unit under the leadership of the Director of Nursing. The Nurse Manager will directly supervise ten or more employees in their respective departments and is accountable to this position. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning/assigning work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees and addressing complaints to solve problems. Assures the unit milieu is therapeutic and physically safe and secure at all times. Bachelors in Science of Nursing or five (5) years experience as a Registered Nurse preferred. Two (2) years in supervision required. Prefer two (2) in psychiatric nursing. Knowledge of current nursing procedures, nursing functions, nursing process, and medications.
