What You'll Do

Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, leveraging Jenkins and CloudFormation for streamlined deployments.

Resolve pipeline complexities across Jenkins and AWS environments (e.g., Linux EC2, RDS, CloudFormation, Elasticsearch).

Automate processes, from build staging to branch tag automation and variance corrections.

Integrate new microservices and automate container builds into the architecture.

Troubleshoot and debug deployment issues, and develop monitoring scripts to ensure service functionality.

Integrate essential DevOps tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, Jenkins, Robot Framework/Selenium, and Artifactory to optimize the entire process.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:

Active TS/SCI with CI Poly Security Clearance

Bachelor's degree with 9 years of relevant experience OR

Master's degree with 7 years of relevant experience OR

PhD with 4 years of relevant experience OR

An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement

Experience working in Linux Environments

Experience with scripting, such as Bash and Python

Active DoD IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE, CISSP, etc.)

This is a full-time onsite position. It is not eligible for hybrid or remote work.

Skills

Strong problem solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills

Experience with Git for Source Control

Understanding and willingness to work in a DevSecOps oriented environment with an Infrastructure as Code mindset

Experience with CloudFormation, Elasticsearch

Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, preferably Java

Experience integrating Jenkins and Docker for automated CI/CD pipelines

Basic understanding of Kubernetes or OpenShift Container Platform

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time onsite position and work days are Monday through Friday. Specific work hours are established with Team Lead. Work location may vary, including onsite requirements which are outlined in the requirements and confirmed with Team Lead.
