Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Perioperative Services
to provide strategic, operational, and financial leadership across our surgical service lines. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of perioperative services at one of the regions most respected academic medical centers. The AVP of Perioperative Services works in close partnership with the Vice President, Nursing & Patient Care Services to oversee fiscal and operational performance for a broad scope of departments, including: Surgical Services (OR, PACU, Same Day Surgery, and Endourology) Sterile Surgical Supply The AVP serves as a key strategic partner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing front-end and revenue cycle operations, standardizing perioperative policies and procedures, and leading marketing and business development efforts. This position represents the hospital to stakeholders including patients, medical staff, external agencies, and the community. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing is required. Master's degree in business administration or health services administration is preferred. 810 years in a supervisory leadership role, with at least 2 years in a perioperative setting. Extensive experience with financial reporting, benchmarking, and operational management. About MedStar Health
