Responsibilities
Brentwood Hospital is looking for a dynamic ECT Coordinator! The ECT Coordinator delivers quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients for the treatment of psychiatric or emotional disorders. The ECT Coordinator prescribes, coordinates, and delegates nursing care utilizing the nursing process that is integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care. The ECT Coordinator is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Establishes nursing treatment plan within 8 hours of admission, including problem identification and interventions.
Conducts ad hoc treatment team meetings as needed; monitors treatment plans for completion and accuracy.
Ensures adequate staffing on the unit to meet patient demand and adjusts accordingly as needed.

Qualifications
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Possesses current Louisiana registered nurse license. BSN preferred. Must have ACLS certification.
EXPERIENCE: One-year prior psychiatric experience in mental health nursing preferred.
SCHEDULE: Determined by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) according to the needs of the facility.
