APPLY NOW! Under a radiologist's or supervisor's direction, the CT Technologist performs computerized tomography procedures. The technologist conducts a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. You will perform data entry operations using hospital software, and provide specialized technical skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and medical knowledge, including anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. You will correlate patient data and apply physics principles to obtain optimal images for diagnosis. Hourly Pay Rate: $46.00 This is a POOL position .
Hours are Varied . Qualifications Requires an Associates Degree in Radiography and/or a completed certificate program in CT. Experience: One (1) year of medical imaging-related experience preferred, demonstrating knowledge, skills, and abilities. Prefer one (1) year CT experience. Certification/Licensure: AZ Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) and ARRT (R)
or AZ Certified Nuclear Med Technologist (CNMT) and ARRT (NM)
or AZ Certified Nuclear Med Technologist (CNMT) and NMTCB (CNMT)
or AZ Certified Radiation Therapy Technologist (CTT) and ARRT (T), and AZ Certified CT Technologist (CTCT) A Preceptor/Temporary license is acceptable at hire; ARRT (CT) must be obtained within two years. Valid BLS card from an AHA training center is required upon hire or transfer. Must have a valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or submit a completed affidavit at hire, and complete fingerprint clearance within seven days. Present actual card within 90 days. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to provide age-appropriate care to patients. Knowledge of growth and development principles; ability to assess patient data and interpret information to meet patient needs. Must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively.
